Drying

The coal dryer can dry 20 tonnes coal an hour. The coal float over a cover through a fluidbed movement. This movement is made possible by airflow via converging openings in the dryer cover, this air is pre-heated by a gas burner.

The coal float through the dryer by means of a vibratory conveyor in the dryer. After drying the coal is classified into several fractions, which is stored in several silos.
