Windshifter

The windshifter is used to classify the light fraction from the heavy fraction. The light fraction consists of a.o. foils, paper, plastics and the heavy fraction consists of e.g. wood and stone.

The light fraction is blown over a separation roller and the heavy parts are falling down. The classifying can be influenced by the setting of the following components:

• Position of the slope
• Speed of the conveyor belt
• Speed of the separation roller
• Airspeed
• Aircompression
• Angle of the duct opening
