Tram depot

For a transport company (GVB) in Amsterdam N.M. Heilig B.V. has delivered mould tables on demand. These are used for maintenance on the wheels of the tram. This way each employee can adjust it to the most suitable height for him.

In close collaboration with the GVB we developed and integrated this conversion in the current construction of the repair pit. To place the tables all sprinkler, compressed air and vacuumsprinklers present had to be adjusted or diverted. The total project is delivered turnkey.

Main point was that the work area complies to all the regulations. To assure the customer of the quality and safety of the mould tables, all the tables are approved and certified by a independent (Notify Body) inspection authority before delivery.

The control of the mould tables have electronic power alternating current conversion at the overhead wire of the trams, so possible danger is also prevented here, as controlling the tables is not possible when voltage is turned on the overhead wire.
