NM Heilig BV has been working since September 2015 on the replacement of a conveyor belt system in one of Europe’s largest transfer facilities in Rotterdam. The operation takes place while the terminal remains fully operational.

The new conveyor belts can be used flexibly and are built in a sustainable manner. For example, there are conveyor belts with Retractable heads. These make it possible to move the discharge point of the conveyor forwards or backwards. In this way, it is possible to determine flexibly at which point the bulk goods will be deposited. All conveyors are coated with a heavy-duty duplex preservation system to guarantee a long service life. In the video you can see such a front-end head.
